"Incredibly unique experience "

"This was a good hotel for the price and location. I was thrilled at the walkability from the hotel to everywhere that I wanted to go in the city. The longest walk to anywhere I wanted to go was 15 minutes. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made the stay more pleasant and were helpful when I had requests. The only reason that I didn't select excellent is for the room being as cold as a walk-in freezer upon arrival to the hotel. The young lady quickly turned the heat on for me but, it was two days until a comfortable temperature was reached. I asked for a blanket the next morning and it was brought to my room not too long after I requested it. My other issue was no hot water from the bathroom sink. I just made due with the shower head as it did have hot water. All in all, I would stay here again. I enjoyed the convenience on the on-site breakfast, it's location and it's staff in the city."

"Room was nice and had a private bath. Heater or air conditioner with a mini fridge. Only thing I didn’t like there wasn’t staff present at all times at the desk. You need to call. "

"What a gem of a place. Hosts Celine and Fabian were very friendly and accomodating. They have 3 rooms in a homestay with lovely continental breakfast, including fresh eggs, orange juice, bread, tea, coffee abd cereals. You can use the outdoor kitchen complete with bbq by the pool and they preapre bbq packs at an additional cost. Our room was the smallest of the 3 but we fitted in with 2 large suitcases and hand luggage no problem. Comfortable double bed, great power shower, small fridge, TV and even a microwave in the room Outside nice little 2 seater patio set A lovely rural setting, away from the hustle and bustle of Caldas Da Rainha but within easy reach of the city and coast Pet goats and pot bellied pig greeted us ever day when we got in our car by the pen. Overall, our favourite accommodation during our 10 day stay in Portugal and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend "

"Very basic hotel. It is dated. Good location but parking close by is an issue. Had to leave key at front desk when leaving the hotel. "

"We Absolutely loved our stay here! Everything at the hotel was amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and only wish we had more time to stay for a longer time. We had a villa which was incredibly lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Location was in a quiet peaceful area but also close to the village in Alcobaça with all the cafes and shops. 100% recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we visit the area. "
