"The room was very cute, with a cabin type vibe. The bathroom was small, but plenty of space to get ready in front of a mirror. We played the 9 hole golf course, which was fun and more challenging than expected- a hidden gem! The pool and hot tub were both warm and very clean, with a deck area for relaxing. The only caveat was the dining area is only open for breakfast and lunch during the summer months. Not a big deal though since there were so many restaurants around to choose from. We will...

"This hotel has been upgraded nicely with new carpets and painted. Bathroom had a new walk-in shower with hand grabs and handheld shower head which was a nice touch. Breakfast room was well appointed too..HOWEVER The big negative was the group of people at the entry heavily smoking and then we didn’t realize that we got a SMOKING ROOM which was a real turn off FOR NON-smokers."
"This was hands down the nastiest and worst maintained hotel I've ever stayed at. There was black mold in the room. I could hear a smoke detector chirping, the paint was all bubbled in the room, the walls around the shower were bubbled and peeling. The shower was very tiny in area and short. There was a two whirlpool pool tub in the room, definitely not a hot tub as advertised. The surround around the "hot tub" was falling apart and there was mold on the caulk. The air conditioner was very noisy, sounded like the bearings were going bad in the blower motor. The wasn't a coffee pot in the room and the continental breakfast was terrible. The pool area looked disgusting. They also made you put a $100 security deposit down that was not made clear during the booking process. This was hands down the worst place I've ever stayed. I wouldn't stay here again if it was half the price."
"This was the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed at. Great rooms! We own a timeshare and the room was like one at a resort. We were there for 5 days/4 nights. We had a 4th floor room with balcony. We did not have the lake view, but we were able to see the town and the river. Our friends with us had a lake view with a balcony and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the restaurant on the 5th floor and had great food. Unfortunately it was foggy and we could not see anything out the windows. The breakfasts we had were so good too. The staff was super nice and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pits outside and loved the indoor/outdoor hot tub. It was nice to have the hour that no kids were allowed in the area."
"Perfect for families! The puttputt and playground were large and fun and there were comfortable picnic tables for eating outside, enjoying the weather and the stunning view. The rooms were VERY large! We had a double queen and while you could tell the hotel is undergoing renovations, it was nice, quiet and comfortable. The updates that were going on lead me to believe that as nice as it is right now, next year will be even better."
"The best shower ever! Love the hand held shower sprayer! It has great pressure too! Nice toilet paper! Felt very pampered! Sound machine was a great homey touch! Excellent place to stay!"
