"The staff was amazing and so helpful and generous, the faucet on the tub was broken and only the hot water worked, there was hair in the shower guessing from the previous people, the only amazing thing was the staff and how close we were to the water, overpriced for what we got"

"The room was clean but did not include hair dryer but does have individual body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Room has a fridge, microwave, Keurig and small sink to wash dishes but no bowls or utensils provided. Staff were friendly at check in and checkout. Loved the ocean view room and nice beach access."

"This inn, though older, has been thoroughly remodeled with clean, updated rooms. Very reasonable rate and fabulous ocean views. There are steps from the property directly to the beach."

"We were kind of put off by the morning staff person. We came in for breakfast, and the person didn't acknowledge us at all. We waited by the entryway, and heard her acknowledge those that came in right behind us. Very disappointing. Kitchen staff on both days was extremely awesome. He acknowledged us, came and cleaned the table as we set. He made our experience 100 percent better. Awesome gentleman."

"We are retired and travel with 2 small dogs. Holiday Express treated us like family. So welcoming. Inside pool and spa very clean. Fun watching kids play in pool. Spa was nice after walking beach for couple hours. Very good restaurant recommendations. Plus they have free shuttle to and from casino. We will definitely be back!!"

"Arrived at 4:30 and was told the room was not ready. Offered another "just the same" room. I agreed. It was not the same. Booked a single BR with a king bed and fireplace. What I got was a single BR with 2 queen beds and no fireplace. After a four hour drive and hauling our suitcases and bags to the room, (we are in our 70's) we decided to stay. After check in I found hole in the bathroom door, a half done ceiling patch and picture windows you could barely see through due to paint over spray on the outside. In the kitchenette, we got 1 fork, 1 spoon, 2 butter knives and two 10 inch butcher knives. There were 2 wine glasses but only 1 juice glass and 1 plastic cup. Went to the office for silverware and was given 2 plastic forks. Coffee was good (pods) but that was about it. Overall the property was just poorly maintained. I realize it is an older property but some things are preventable."
