This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. I only stayed for two nights, but I was genuinely shocked by how beautiful and luxurious the property was.
As soon as you walk in, there’s a gorgeous pool surrounded by greenery, smooth stones, and the sound of running water. The whole property has this peaceful, almost spa-like atmosphere. Even the gym surprised me—it felt like I had walked into a luxury fitness club.
The room was STUNNING. Super high ceilings, a soft comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and shower, and everything was extremely clean and well maintained. It genuinely felt luxurious and much more impressive in person than I expected from the photos.
There’s also a bar/restaurant area where you can order freshly prepared food, and everything I tried was really good. The staff were sweet, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay.
I wish I had stayed longer because two nights was not enough! If I return to Chiang Mai, I would absolutely come back here for at least a few nights. It was one of those hotels where the property itself felt like part of the vacation. Absolutely beautiful.
Our family greatly enjoyed staying at Thai Akara Lanna. It’s a beautiful hotel, clean and tastefully decorated. You feel that every little detail was carefully thought through. Our room was spacious, cozy, and and it had everything we needed. The swimming pool and the shaded courtyard area was nice and relaxing after the day of exploring. Breakfast had good options. The hotel is in a convenient location, within walking distance to many beautiful temples and night markets in the Old City. The Sunday night market is a must visit!
This charming hotel in old city Chiang Mai is very convenient to explore all around. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Amenities and linen very good. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so kind and friendly.
The property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable and located in the old city of Chiang Mai making it incredibly walkable and easy to get to shops, restaurants, and tour meeting points. The hotel staff was incredibly kind and accommodating.
Perfect stay from the start. Great service. Great location. We walked to a ton of things to do in the area and had a nice pool to cool off each day. Great staff was attentive to every need.
Very convenient location to everything within the old city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, beds quite comfortable. Breakfast buffet good.
The hotel is beautiful and our rooms were clean and very comfortable. The hotel provided us with fresh fruit, water, and snacks which we appreciated and enjoyed.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. But on the very top is the staff. Monika at the restaurant was always so welcoming with us. Boe and Tobbie were both so attentive, polite and friendly. They help made our stay so very special. Thank you all.
This is a lovely little oasis in the heart of Chiang Mai's old town. The pool is beautiful and refreshing and the staff could not be more gracious and helpful. Plus breakfast is included!
Wonderful hotel. Great location. Very attentive staff. The courtyard with the pool feels like an oasis. Great breakfast. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. They booked massages for us at the Antique massage place. Great choice.
Staffs are really nice, we did not mention that was my friend's birthday, but when we went back hotel prepared a small cake for us to celebrate.
They must noticed that when we checked in.
Really appreciate that.
Lovely little hotel tucked away in the old city. Small and boutique this was the perfect spot to explore Chiang Mai. All of the staff were lovely and helpful and were quick to resolve an A/C issue in our room. The breakfast choice isn’t huge but with the hotel only having 20ish rooms you don’t expect a lavish banquet. Would stay again and would recommend to others
The stay was amazing! We were immediately upgraded to a suite that was amazing. The facilities were well maintained, clean and up to date. The staff was so polite and helpful, when we entered our taxi to leave, we found out the Hotel had provided free taxi to the airport. Overall it was an amazing stay in a beautiful hotel!
Very nice property in an excellent location in the Old City. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We were just a block away from the Sunday Night Market. Lots of
bars and restaurants (both Thai and Western) are nearby. Easy walking distance from some of the better museums if you are interested in learning more about Lanna culture.
