Value for money.

Well located, enough space and offering a reasonable breakfast. Downsides: arrival and check is not a "warm welcome". The staff members were too flustered and focused on their process -- looking at the computer with a puzzled look on their faces -- trying to see if they really do have your booking.

ターペー門からすぐだがターペー通りからほんの少し曲がったところにあるため、静かでいい。スタッフは無愛想ではないが日本のサービス精神からするとドライな対応ではある。タイは一部屋の値段で複数人泊まれる所があるのでそのタイプがここには多く、1人でダブルベッドとセミダブルの置いてある部屋になり、無駄を感じた。内装は古さを感じるが素敵だ。灯りは暗め。オーナーが日本人という安心感はある。オーナーの娘さんの描いた絵が飾られていたり、飼い犬の「すもう」がいたり。カフェ併設でコンビニも近い。ナイトマーケット、市場、徒歩圏内。ニマンヘミン、空港、駅は各種乗り物を。

Stay away from this place

I had a terrible experience since I arrived untill I get out from there. The room and the bed linen was dirty. When I arrived they put me in a room that was smelling gross, like a musty terrible smell, that gave me a headache, when I opened the fridge, it was also smelly. I asked if it was possible to change my room because of the strong smell, they said if I wanted to change I would have to pay more, because they didn't have a room available with the same price, but they had others empty rooms there. As I didn't have the money to pay more, the girl at the reception wrote to me in Google translator (SHE COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH) that there was nothing she could do if I didn't pay. The room had no window, so I left the doors opened when I went out, trying to decrease the smell, but when I came back, someone had closed the doors. The TV didn't work properly. In the other day I had to do the check out, they have signs inside the room telling that the check out time is until 12:00. The same girl at the reception came to my room twice, before 12:00, really rude, annoying me and telling that I had to do check out (what I knew).

従業員の対応が良い

今回1人で4泊の利用をさせて頂きました。 まず感じたのがチェックインの時や宿泊中も従業員の方の対応が良かったなと感じました。 自分は英語があまり得意ではないのですが、嫌な顔せず笑顔で対応して頂き安心感がありました。 部屋も清潔にされており1人で泊まるには十分な広さでありました。 立地に関しては一本入った所にあるもののコンビニが近くにあったりターペー門までも徒歩圏内である為遠出した際にトゥクトゥクなどにターペー門までと告げるだけでよく便利でした。

＜Good Point＞ ・ターペー門通りではあるものの、小道を1分程入る為、騒音が無い。 ・NHKが映る。 ＜Not Good Point＞ ・トイレとシャワールームが同一で仕切りもない為、シャワーを浴びたあとはトイレを使用しにくい。 ・無料WI-FIはあるが、つながりにくい。 ・エレベーターはない。

ソンクラーンに持ってこいのホテル

タイ正月ことソンクラーン時に滞在させていただきました。近くにマクドナルドやセブンイレブン、スターバックス、といったチェンマイ中心部に位置し、とても行動しやすいです。チェンマイ国際空港ことCNXからエアポートタクシーは150B、レッドトラックタクシーだと40Bの距離で近いです。オーナーが日本人という噂のせいか滞在者の9割が日本人ばかりで共有ラウンジには日本の雑誌やバックパッカー「地球も歩き方」等もあり、ツアーガイドのパンフレットもあります。日本人が初めてチェンマイに滞在する際にはこのホテルが1番だと思います。ホテルスタッフもとても親切で対応してくれます。

１階ロビーの受付横の部屋に宿泊しましたが、部屋のドアの作りが悪く音が筒抜けで、朝早くから宿泊客の応対や話し声がかなりうるさくゆっくりできませんでした。ドアのノブの破損、トイレのカギの破損等が修繕されておらず、エアコンフィルターが清掃されていない為、ほこりが本体からあふれ出ていました。スタッフの対応もビジネス風で心から接客する姿勢が見られませんでした。 部屋の色使いや雰囲気はいいのに残念です。今後利用することはありません。

Pinkという部屋に滞在いたしました。シングルとダブルベッドが1つづつでエアコンとバストイレ付きのお部屋です。1人旅でしたが、ベッドが2つあり部屋自体は十分過ぎるほどでした。シャワーのお湯も緩くなることなくしっかり出ました。立地的にはターペーゲートに近くどこに行くにも便利という意味で街歩きも楽しめおすすめです。フロントの方も親切でした。

Mangoという部屋日本滞在いたしました。道路に面した簡単なバルコニーとエアコン付き。バストイレシェアのお部屋です。1人旅でしたが、ベッドが2つあり部屋自体は十分な広さです。ただ蚊がかなり飛んでいたので気になる人は虫除けや蚊取線香を持参されたほうがいいと思います。ターペーゲートに近くどこに行くにも便利という意味ではおすすめです。フロントの方も親切でした。

ターペー門に近くて場所は便利でした

チェックインできる時間に行きましたが予約している部屋の掃除がまだできていないから別の部屋でもいいかと聞かれOKしたら一階の二段ベッドの部屋に通された。窓が無くて暗い部屋でくつろげなかったので見てからOKすればよかった。壁が薄いようで隣の部屋の声が丸聞こえです。寝るだけなら問題無いですが。併設のカフェと立地はいいと思った。

場所がとてもいい。メイン通りまで徒歩１分で出られる。カフェも併設されており、食事を摂ることも可能。蚊がいたが、ベッドには蚊帳があった。トイレとバスは共同だった。周りは静かだったので、夜はゆっくり寝られた。ともかくアクセスが良い。徒歩圏内にカフェやマッサージ店がたくさんある。また、アクティビティの予約もフロントでやってくれた。

Cheap guesthouse in good location

A small guesthouse ticked away in a narrow laneway. The building is old but renovated. Rooms are large enough but dark inside and not well ventilated. Service is friendly and helpful. Good for a short stay for visitors to Chiangmai. Close to sightseeing, restaurants and shopping.

ターナー門から5分程。初めてチェンマイを訪れる人もターナー門まで自力で来れれば、ゲストハウスまでたどり着くことが出来るのは良い。旧市街にも新市街のナイトマーケットにも歩いてゆくことができる。中心地の見どころに関しては歩いて回れるので非常に便利。

街の中心部に位置しており、立地条件は申し分ない。ツアーの申し込みもでき、旅行会社を探す必要もなく、ありがたかった。部屋は１階の２段ベッドのある部屋で、狭かったが一通りの設備があり、不便さはなかった。
