Rude staff gave me the wrong room and didn't care

My partner and I went on a romantic vacation getaway in Thailand and we spent 3 of the days in Chiang Mai. We booked this hotel and specifically booked for a room with one bed. When we checked in, we were given a room with 2 single beds. We went back downstairs to the front desk to ask for the correct room that we had booked, but the staff was very rude and refused to change our room, and told us to go to sleep and ask again in the morning. So we did that, and again in the morning they refused to give us the correct room that we had booked and paid for. I had to waste 2 hours of vacation time to contact hotels.com to cancel this booking. Fortunately, the customer service agent was very nice and put us in a new hotel with a king bed for the rest of the days we spent in Chiang Mai.

Wij hebben goed geslapen. De bedden waren schoon en matrassen waren goed. Teleurstellend voor een 4 sterrenhotel vonden wij de service bij de receptie. Wifi was 24 uur out of service. Ook was de badkamer douchekop beschimmeld, moesten wij douchen in een bad (oud en vies) en sliepen wij in 2- 1 persoonsbedden ipv een kingsizebed. Tevens hadden wij 1 flesje water gepak (plastic) die was dus niet gratis maar de glazen flesjes water blijkbaar wel. Helaas moesten wij dus nog wel voor dat ene flesje water betalen. Dit terwijl wij klachten hadden over de wifi, wij niet gezeurd hebben over de vieze badkamer en de bedden. Erg jammer. Wij zullen hier niet meer terugkomen. Service van de bagage medewerker was wel top. Hij had voor een taxi geregeld (uber). Hierdoor scheelde het ons mbt taxikosten naar het vliegveld. Eindconclusie: oud hotel, slechte service bij de desk en een vieze badkamer. Je kan beter voor deze prijs naar het. Duangtawan gaan, dichter bij de avondmarkt, groot, mooi zwembad en goede service.

It was a nice clean hotel. The beds were quite hard, and I think they are renovating the pool so that was closed. It is an easy location to get to and from the airport and to the old city.

壁が薄すぎてとなりの部屋の人の声で何度も目が覚める。また、wifi が使えなくてフロントにいいにいくと英語を話せない人に接客され何も話が進まなかった。そのあと英語が話せる人が出てきたがその人曰く、下層階はwifi が遅くて多分たがらないと言われた。部屋も下水くさかったりシャワーが出にくかったりし本当に最悪だった。

The loby of the hotel is nice but when you go up by the elevator to the room it looks so ugly and neglected. the room is not maintained, everything is old and not working. The worst thing is that there is bedbugs in the room. I definitley not recomend this place and I will never book this hotel again!!!

Not very clean rooms.

This hotel had a dirty room with mold on walls in the bathroom. The room was so strong with deodorizer that it makes you sick. We had to leave and they would not refund our money through Expedia.

In nwwd of a proper Management

Weird. This Hotel needs a proper Management. Rooms are ok for the price paid. But service was just weird. First day they forgot (?) to clean my room. Next morning they bumped my door before 8 am. One day they took away 2nd towel. Room was clean and most things were working. Bathoom in good condition. I had a Balcony which was dirty and never taken care of.

Palace! Lol

Don't waste your time or money this hotel is completely run down and the rooms dirty and the bathrooms outdated which kept flooding.This hotel does not deserve the title 'palace' it's a dump look else where.
