"First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. "Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money.
Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky.
TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer.
A few minor issues that could be improved upon are;
TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible.
There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc.

"Our first time at the Blue Bell, but won’t be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back! "
