"The building was impressive, the food at the restaurant wasn't the best. $22 per person for a $5 breakfast. The rooms were nice but the beds small and uncomfortable."

"We have been going to this hotel once or twice a year to visit relatives and spend time in New York City for many years. The rooms are always clean, the staff efficient and helpful. We take the NJT train to NYC (it is walking distance to the hotel) so no need to find a parking spot, trains run often and drop you at Penn Station. Their breakfast buffet (included) is real scrambled eggs, beverages, cereals, toaster items and pastries, always so much better than the usual fare at 'franchise' motels and food and beverage at the attached Red Dog tavern is also superior."

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. It was like a small apartment. FREE breakfast and much more than a continental breakfast. The service was outstanding, and it was clear that the staff truly cared about making guests feel comfortable and valued. The hotel was conveniently located, and all the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable!"
