"I paid just under £100 for one night, which felt a bit high for what was offered. The first thing I noticed was the bed — it was quite small, especially for two adults, and not particularly comfortable. There were also some maintenance issues. The drawers were broken or missing, so there was nowhere to store belongings. In the bathroom, the bath itself was very small, even for someone of a smaller build, and the layout was awkward — opening the door would hit the toilet, and it wouldn’t shut properly. Additionally, some of the bathroom tiles were broken, which made the space feel a bit worn and in need of repair. Overall, the stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement, particularly considering the price."

"Stayed here for two nights and were impressed with the room, the friendly staff and how easy it is to get into Chester in 10 minutes. My wife used the pool each morning and said it was lovely & clean, we didn't bother with breakfast so can't really comment on the food. We visited the bar in the evenings where there was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. We would definitely stay here again."

"The staff we encountered were all lovely. So pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. We had a bath with shower over, always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. The man from Liverpool was so cheerful and welcoming each morning, a great start to the day. Had food and drinks in the bar which we enjoyed. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. "
