"Went during Bank holiday. I booked a room with double and single. Got bumped off which was very annoying. There is not air-conditioning and rooms can get very hot. Staff were generally good especially Matt. Breakfast was average"

"Had two nights in here, lovely place, locaction on west side of Cheltenham but I'm sure close enough for a cab to the centre. Recently changed hands and setting about renovating. The public areas are to an excellent standard, modern but cozy bar, excellent restaurant atmosphere, eat here both nights and both service and food were excellent, great choices and properly cheffed not a commercial ready meal. Breakfast was likewise solid start to the day. Bedrooms a little tired but big enough, comfortable bed, and aircon with such British weather right now. (Not sure why reviews say there isn't) I'm sure with time these will be refurbished too and the price reflected, but currently great value. Good luck, will be back next year!"
The Colesbourne Inn

"This is an old inn in the beautiful Cotswolds. We stayed in a newer annex that was clean and comfortable. There was even a outdoor sitting area to read a book or have a picnic. Carol, who served breakfast most mornings, was a organized and professional - and at the same time welcoming and folksy. My only ask is that there be a few more options for breakfast."

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

"Beautifully clean, large room, however, we stayed during the bank holiday heatwave and the air con wasn't working. A portable air con unit had been placed in the room but wasn’t enough for such a large space. Unable to open windows, so had a sleepless night due to the unbearable heat. Huge room, great shower and very comfortable bed. We also stayed for breakfast which was amazing! Beautiful hotel just a shame that we chose a boiling hot weekend to stay."

"Lovely hotel but very little to do. With all guests spending time at the spa there was no beds by the pool. Food was delicious but overall the experience was too expensive compared to its value."

"Helpful and friendly staff on front desk, large room, big and very comfortable bed. very central location, parking underneath hotel at £10 a night. Decoration a little tired, but absolutely brilliant value overall, I will certainly stay there again the next time I'm in Cheltenham."
