This historic Inn in a very small town ( population about 400) was a lovely respite. There was ample space in the room with a full bed, private bath and sitting area with fireplace. The restaurant on site offered a very nice dinner menu and wine selection and breakfast was served st our table and complimentary. Loved everything about our stay. Very gracious hosts.
I loved our stay at the Lafayette Inn. It's old but charming. The dinner was wonderful and the free breakfast was even better! Also the owners were so friendly and accomodating. I want to stay there again soon!
Really enjoyed our time there. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and easy checkin and checkout. Also is a cat sanctuary which provides for a fun ambiance as well! Would highly recommend!
The owners truly want you to enjoy your stay. They were kind and gracious, willing to make sure you had everything you needed. The suite was spacious, clean, had updated bathroom and huge giant windows. Very historical, lots of charm, fireplaces were so nice. FOOD was amazing. Will return!
Quaint and historical property with onsite chef/owner and fabulously friendly staff. Was visiting IIHS/HLDI, 10 minutes away.
Excellent dinner and included breakfast. Great proximity to Skyline drive too.
Lovely Inn. Comfortable, felt like home, but with the convenience of being on vacation. Owners friendly and both breakfast and dinners were outstanding
What a fun little find! Lovely spacious inn deep in the heart of Charlottesville wine country. Close to a number of wineries and to Charlottesville. The suite had a comfortable sitting room and a spacious bedroom. Don't miss dinner at the inn as it's amazing. Breakfast the next morning was better than any hotel breakfast I've had in years--the French toast will haunt my dreams. Definitely will be back.
Nice old building, quiet area although the road outside was quite busy. Lovely people, and the dinner and the breakfast were very good. Altogether a good experience.
