I did an8 day stay here on my first trip to Charlotte.
Pros: Very clean inside, very convenient location, full kitchen, reasonable price, good general inventory of pots/pans/plates for cooking and other general supplies.
Cons: Noise - but only through the ceiling from the room above. The kitchen/living room have vinyl flooring and either there is no noise insulation or it is poor quality. Footsteps, noisy appliances (the dishwasher and AC are very loud in the unit) all seemed to go straight through the floor from the unit above. I did not hear tvs, music, or other guests from the side (or even from above) - however the people who stayed above me seemed to pace a LOT (or perhaps had a dog or child) who would walk around constantly. The unit did have a white noise generator which I set to max volume (and I also set the ac in my unit lower than normal) just to make white noise to drown out the walking/etc from above. It was annoying but not an issue since white noise doesn’t bother me - however if you don’t like white noise/etc you will most likely want earplugs.
Another con would be the neighborhood outside the development seems “sketchy” - I personally wouldn’t wander around/outside the property after dark (I’m a slightly older white male).
The final con is the door didn’t have any secondary security latches. The door handle is a lever so I simply put a chair under the handle which would prevent someone from opening it (at least without a lot of noise anyway).
