Great Locaction

Nice hotel. The fitness room had a wet carpet, moldy smell. My room was fine, but my boss had 2 terrible rooms & had to find a different hotel. Hotel is in a great location with walkable restaurants & movie theatre.

Decent hotel

It was a nice hotel and room. Had a whole kitchen and things to use to make food if you brought or bought food. The couch bed did not have sheets blankets or pillows. They brought. Close to down town. The people above us were loud as hell all night long.

Homewood Charlotte/Ayrsley provides a calm and peaceful environment, ensuring a restful stay. Our check-in was smooth, making for a good night's sleep. While the breakfast offerings were satisfying, we noted a slight limitation in variety, and unfortunately, the kitchen staff didn't exhibit much friendliness. However, the other staff members were friendly and welcoming. Despite these small issues, the hotel's great amenities and rooms made our stay enjoyable. Parking was easy and safe, making our stay hassle-free. The area around the hotel is nice, making it easy to get around, and it's great for walking. With all these positives, we'd definitely consider coming back in the future.

The hotel was nice. The only issue we had was that the door in one of the bedrooms did not lock. The handle was broken. There was also hair in the bathroom, deodorant on the floor in the room, and a cup left in the fridge. It appeared that the last person to clean or suite did not do such a great job. Aside from that, the staff was amazing, check in and check out was easy.

The property was nice, but my room smelled straight up like a nursing home and had Stains on the comforter. There was also no curtain to fully close, making it easy to see in and out, which was not ideal given I was on the first floor. The staff was really accommodating and was able to check me in much earlier than the check-in time, but it felt like I made some sacrifices to do that.

We stayed at this pet-friendly hotel for two nights, prior to our flight to London. The hotel is well situated for the airport, being about 12 minutes away. Our accommodation was comfortable and the daily hot breakfast was very welcome. But the real stars of the show are the staff. During our stay our little cat was lost. Every single staff member, managerial, reception, housekeeping etc.went the extra mile. We were shown kindness, empathy and concern during the 24 hours that our kitty was missing. She was found trapped in the box spring, an issue that does need follow up! We would like to extend our heart-felt gratitude to all members of this excellent professional team. The hotel is fine, but the team made our stay truly special! Once again, thank you!

Staff were very nice. Booked a one bedroom suite that slept 4. No bedding in the room for pull out. Front desk was able to find sheets, blanket. No pillows. Room had two towels. Was told that housekeeping was gone for the day so that is all they had to give us. Furniture in the room was beat up. Hilton…if you’re going to advertise that it sleeps 4 then have bedding and towels for four in the room. That doesn’t seem to be too big of a ask does it? Or give your staff a key to housekeeping to get guests the basics if you’re not going to provide them.

Gabriel at the front desk is amazing. Gabriel was very knowledgable of the Hilton Rewards and helped find my account to make sure I received my rewards for my two night stay. Thank you Gabriel for being a friendly face at check-in. The property itself is nice for a couple of days. There are air condition units in the room with a thermostat on the wall to control the temp of the room. The setup of the room was very comfortable and suitable for a couple of nights stay. Housekeeping is every other day, but if you have any requests prior to then housekeeping will make accommodations. Parking is free but on the weekend can be a nightmare at night !!! The lot is shared with two other hotel properties. The parking spaces are painted very narrow, some occupants parking may take up two spaces. Causing you to park far from the hotel entrance.

When I initially decided to book this property, I looked at the reviews, the 9/10 stars that other patrons indicated, as well as the convenience of the location: nicer, modern area, safety, etc. However, to my surprise, upon checking in, the room was an absolute mess and not a true depiction or representation of the area. I booked a King 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen. The reservation room type was fulfilled; however, upon entering the room, it was as if I went back in time 20 years! Not modern at all. The AC unit in the living area smelled so bad. Thankfully, I always travel with Lysol spay, Clorox wipes, gloves, a candle, and other cleaning products. The curtains throughout the space was old and smelly. The bedding were TERRIBLE! Again, thankfully, I travel with my own bedsheets as well. The bedding had cigarette holes and was dirty as hell. The nightstands were filled with dust. The room phone was filthy so I wiped that down with Clorox’s wipes as well. Kitchen chairs were filled with stains so I covered them with the hotel towels. The bathroom was the worst! It’s very small, dirty, and old. The shower curtain was absolutely DESPICABLE. First, why is this hotel still using a shower curtain? It is clearly old, dingy, with no inner liner, smelly, and fabric! Didn’t you learn anything from Covid?! Take that crap down! The shower was disgusting. Rust running down the wall. Blond stringy hair all over the place. Once again, thankfully, I travel with shower slipper.
