Booked this pet friendly hotel on the way to and from our vacation and enjoyed how simple it was to check in and out and our dog was accepted. It was cozy and very clean for a pet friendly hotel. Everyone was soooo nice!
It was a good experience. The only issue I had was the bed was too high for me to get into easily. I am 5 feet tall and it was a struggle to get into the bed. My elderly brother had a little issue as well. It would be nice to have a freezer in the fridge in the room. The staff was great as was the breakfast.
The staff is outstanding very accommodating and very friendly. The elevator does need to be updated a little bit. It’s showing wear and tear on the walls in the floor. My room was awesome and the shower pressure and the showerhead was the best I have ever been in each time I come to this area I will definitely book at this hotel
I booked a room thru Expedia as it shows 7 rooms available. The manager on duty, told me there were no more rooms under the Expedia price. I asked how much is the room if I did not use Expedia as I had been traveling all day and need a place to rest. He said "as a matter of fact" we have no rooms left in this hotel at all. I begged and pleased with him. He told me to go down the street, mind you I was from out of state and travelling with family, who was staying at this hotel. My son in law who is an Army vet and Diamond member, tried to reason with the man, but he would budge. I felt he was very rude and was not willing to work with us on any level. Very poor customer service.
Everything was nice the front desk was extremely nice and I appreciate the extra time in the pool after all little kids were in their rooms and she let me go in for a few minutes to relax without all the screaming. It was much appreciated.
When we checked in, we were told the type of room that we asked for was given to someone else and we were left with a single king size bed for 4 people. All rooms in the hotel were taken. We were offered a full refund, which is why the customer service was given a high stars but them not saving our reservation is insane. Derek, the man who was working, did his best to make it nice for us by giving trying to give us the blankets and pillows we needed (which they ran out of!) and we made the best of what we were given, but it shouldn’t have been that way. I paid ahead to have this reservation. I will not make reservations through Expedia again or Holiday Inn.
