The rooms are beautiful. The location is amazing with a beautiful cobblestone alleyway and close to restaurants, shopping and the harbour. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to go back there again.

The Ionas Boutique Hotel is a beautiful historic landmark. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The owner and staff at the hotel were very warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

What a lovely place! We had the most beautiful time in Chania staying at this charming family owned hotel. They were all so lovely and accomodating, and the breakfast is so lovely in their little courtyard. The area is so close to the main port, right in the heart of the old town. I will absolutely be staying here again.

A really lovely hotel in a great location, very close to good restaurants and near to the port but tucked away in a very quiet area. The building is beautiful and we loved breakfast in the courtyard. We are more used to buffet breakfasts but it was great to be served with good coffee, our choice of freshly cooked eggs, cold meats, cheeses, bread, cake, fruit and yoghurt. We enjoyed the chance to try different local specialities every day. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful with special thanks to Sofianna for her help with taxis, bus times and advice about places to visit.

Charming little boutique hotel

Amazing little boutique hotel situated in the middle of Chania. Staff very friendly. Breakfast amazing. Room very clean. The only issue is that they have stairs leading up to the room which made it a bit difficult to access (as we have a 1 year old with a pram).

Unique. Authentic. At end of narrow street. 2 of the rooms in newer building had stairs only. Be aware that you may have to carry luggage 2 flights. We did. Thought it worth it as we overlooked the narrow tiny street. Breakfast area charming.
