Older motel but the bed was comfortable the water was hot the pressure was great. Chris at check-in was very friendly. TV didn’t work properly but Chris tried to fix it. It was late so it ended up being ok to not have television. We appreciate the pet friendly aspect. The bar/restaurant was lovely. The remodel is beautiful.

It was a Friday night with lots of local events, music, a busy bar, and friendly people. However, the motel room needed attention. No wifi, the TV did not work, the light over the bed was burned out, and the sink dirty. The hotel manager was overwhelmed running the bar, and we didn't complain or worry too much. But it wasn't a well maintained facility.

Challis, ID doesn't have many choices when it comes to hotels/motels.The Roadhouse Inn has rooms on the same level as other local properties. I wanted to love it...but i dont. The sheets need to be updated; same for the towels and pillows. Id bring my own and sleep in my own sleeping bag. With that said. The staff is amaizing. They wanted to be sure we were comfortable. BIg smiles and very accomodating.

We were awaking by 2 people shouting and slamming doors from midnight and went on until after 330 am right next door to us. I got up to ask them to please be considerate, one if them told me the other was drunk and would be leaving. After more shouting abd slamming around they finally shut up. In the morning i observed them getting in a commercial vehicle. The facility is nice and clean but having no one to taje care of an all night disturbance was a little rough

Paid about $80. Probably the worst motel experience I have ever had. The room was dirty. I bent down to plug in a device and the vinyl floor under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned
ever. No soap/shampoo etc and the luke warm water from the shower nozzle barely flowed. The toilet had a leak so it ran 24/7 and the cold water in the sink was turned off. I turned it on at the valve and then realized it’s because the sink would constantly run. The towels were dirty and the bath mat looked like someone walked on it with dirty boots. The power went out for about 2 hours (not the motels fault). I’m not a tech novice but I couldn’t get the tv to work and it had no instructions whatsoever with the two remotes. I’ve stayed in a lot of roadside motels but this by far was the worst as far as cleanliness and cost vs value. Fortunately the roadhouse restaurant had decent food and drink. I’d stay somewhere else. I never write reviews for motels but had to do this one. Maybe the owners will read and make some changes and do some general maintenance at some point.

Everyone very friendly in this town, they make you feel like ole friends. Pizza was very good. Breakfast is so good right next-door. We msy move here. Even saw 2 deer in front on Motel.

The rooms were pretty filthy, getting a room key was problematic as you go to the bar and depending on how the wait staff feels. Ended up finding a nice airbnb and left the room a few days early eating the cost of the room.

I didn’t stay there. Showed up a little bit early and no one was there or answered phone. The place looked abandoned and a for sale sign out front. It was New Year’s Day though. Expedia tried putting up in a nearby hotel with broken out windows and a junk car in parking lot. No thanks. Kept driving to Stanley.

Great stay for a cheaper motorcycle trip. Like being able to park right outside my rood. Property is older and worn, but clean. Owners are making an obvious effort to update. New restaurant and bar is being built to replace what was lost in recent fire. Check-in was at the current small bar adjacent to the rooms. Bartender was very efficient and personal. She’s a good advocate for the community. Would stay again.

Shower was either scalding hot or ice cold! Made a reservation for a room with two dbl beds. Paid for it. On arrival was told none were available. My reservation confirmation said otherwise. We were able to compromise and stayed in separate rooms. You need to visit your properties!

The shower curtain was filthy. The sink had hair in it. The corner of the bathroom has a cobweb and a spider in it. The air conditioner worked great!!! It was nice to be able to sit outside and take the table and chairs out. The new restaurant was nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Room smelled bad like cigarettes bathroom window was open and would not lock there weren’t any chairs in the room could hear the neighbors talking throughout the night couldn’t watch tv because the hdmi cable was missing the lady at the front desk said it happens all the time.

This was the worst place possible. The bed springs were old and dirty and broken. The mattress was so soft there was absolutely no support. I was supposed to stay two nights but didn’t get any sleep the first night so I left.
