In my opinion, it is more comparable to a 3-star hotel than the standard its pricing suggests. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower was outdated and not particularly clean, and the sink had been repaired with tape, which gave a poor impression of the room maintenance. "We were OK with the property however it is listed as a four-star hotel and it’s definitely not a four-star hotel. It needs serious updating. The headboard was tattered the walls near the baseboard were dirty and it just need an overall update."

"Doubletree Hilton Prado is my go to hotel whenever I’m in Madrid. The rooms are spotless, the amenities are great, and the staff is wonderful. Location is safe and walking distance to all. It was 100°F when I was a Madrid and the air conditioning is nice and cold. Bed is comfortable, bathroom spotless."

"Budget friendly yet so close to subway station (Del Artes), next to Reina Sofia museum, and Atocha train station if you want to take high speed trains to destinations like Granada or Sevilla.
