Everything was absolutely adorable, retro with a lot of class. You could tell the owners really cared about their property and took beautiful care of it. It was absolutely clean, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, the fans in every room to the old-fashioned, but there was also an air conditioner so, they were really just for a little added comfort. Coffee pot brewed, great coffee, and the place was spotless.

This wasn't our first time renting a cabin, so we knew what to expect. I'll start with the positives.
The cabin has a nice old-fashioned charm and is located in a very popular mountain area with great hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, bedding, and towels. We also appreciated the grill, fire pit, and the firewood that was provided. Parking was easy, and everything inside the cabin was in working order.
Some previous guests mentioned that the cabin can get warm during the day because it only has one portable air conditioner in the living room and none in the bedrooms. This wasn't a major issue for us, but it's something future renters should keep in mind.
Now for the downsides. We had read in other reviews that there could be some road noise, but we never imagined it would be this bad. The constant highway traffic was much louder than we expected and was noticeable throughout our stay.
When we arrived, the well pump and water heater were turned off, so we had to find the breaker ourselves to get them running. This wasn't mentioned in the check-in instructions, and the host didn't respond to my message about it until about six hours later.
One other thing that made us uncomfortable was the number of outdoor security cameras around the property. I understand why the
