Refreshing to stay in a unique property like this as a nice break from sterile, chain hotels. We had a very spacious room with a cozy, traditional feel and a lovely view. Nice touches like a towel warmer, tea setting etc.
Stayed at the hotel with 4 friends. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable . The staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent menu in the dining room. Car parking was great with EV charging available.
Would highly recommend to others.
Five hurrahs! We booked at the Cashel House because of our lovely memories of our first stay in 2019. Thus classic hotel is a stately and comfortable building surrounded by luscious gardens in a gorgeous part of western and wild County Galway. The dining room offers very limited menu of the most freshly prepared foods served by an attentive staff. Lots of nice coastline, abbeys, and remote valleys within easy reach.
We and our two little dogs had a wonderful stay. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. As its an old building the plumbing isnt always great so water pressure for showers is not great. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. We had the delicious breakfast every morning and it was lovely to be abe to take those beautiful walks with amazing sea views.
This property is in an excellent location with beautiful gardens. I must mention the excellent staff. They were knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. I hope to return again. Bedrooms might need a little updating in soft furnishings.Lounge library dining room etc were beautifully furnished.Good food and excellent wine list. Gillian
Nestled on the breathtaking west coast of Ireland, Cashel House Hotel offers front-row seats to the stunning beauty of Cashel Bay. This charming country house retreat is your ticket to timeless elegance and a warm, traditional Irish welcome.
Each of the 30 bedrooms and suites has its own unique personality, decked out with antiques and bursting with cosy, chintzy charm. Think snug sofas, crackling log fires, and an atmosphere so homely you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook.
The elegant dining room, in the light-filled conservatory overlooking the lush gardens, is a foodie’s dream. Indulge in delicious country house cooking at its finest—comforting, elegant, and oh-so-satisfying. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, luxury, and good old-fashioned Irish hospitality!
Staying at the Cashel House Hotel was like a step back in time...the house/hotel has been lovingly restored and maintained by the current owners, complete with original paintings, antiques and furniture. To arrive here on a blustery Irish day, one steps into a world of country manor comfort and service that comes with staff who have maintained this place lovingly for the last 50 years. Each room was elegant and looked out on immaculately groomed gardens that are historical in themselves. You can take walks through the grounds at your leisure, walk down to the shore, take drives into the villages that surround this very special area. A must-see for anyone who wants a taste of wild Ireland and bespoke retreat. Will definitely return!
Beautifully maintained charming older building, everything in our room was top notch and so comfortable. Amazing landscaped and planted grounds, many nooks and crannies to explore inside and out. Remote location but drivable to many sites.

avoid - uncomfortable mattress, fire alarm went off around midnight in the rooms, terribly rude manager
The most lovely place with the most excellent service of all the hotels we stayed in Ireland. Will definitely return! The gardens are beautiful and location was convenient for sites we wanted to see.
This property is so elegant and historical. It felt like I had entered into another age. The surrounding area and gardens are filled with beautiful flowers and wildlife. We spent half the day at the small inlet across the road from the hotel and watched the tide come in and then went for a swim.
The property is old and unwelcoming. He staff were not welcoming and treated us with suspicion because we told them we wanted to change the booking to one night not two. I was told there may be some kind of a small charge. When we checked out the next day they had the brass neck to charge us in full - that makes it nearly €800 for one night. It’s not worth it don’t go there.
Résidence pleine de charme et de chaleur. Super service
Malheureusement salle de bain pas très pratique
, petite et vasque trop basse.
Toilette non séparé et bruit de la vmc.
Un peu chère pour la prestation mais nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
We spent two nights in this cozy nest, a charming hotel.
The rooms are spacious, clean
The breakfast is plentiful and varied, the restaurant in the evening in a beautiful glass roof offers a full menu. Small attention: the napkins are embroidered.
The site is truly remarkable, calm, with a large garden and a park.
Friendly and available staff
Not to miss!
