"This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees."

Good facilities in room but it was incredibly hot during our visit so a fridge in room would have improved our stay as no air conditioning but not many days in England you would need it. "Always live the diner, but cannot say the same for the tvs - they rarely respond to their remotes and this time a member of staff have to come and power off the wall switch (you can’t risk it yourself in case the tv crashes to the floor)."
