I usually don't like to complain, but this place has to be the worst hotel I've stay. Entire staff was rude and didn't try to help. Uppon arrival there were no towels in the bathroom. It took me 4 trips (3 hours) to the lobby to get the towels. Shower was clogged. Sheets and towels smelled like urine. All I can say, stay away from this place.
The room was big but dark, no window to the outside, no chairs inside, the lock did not work and I got stuck in the corridor with my Luggages inside the room while I had to leave to take my bus (did not miss it only thanks to the kindness of the bus company staff) - the hotel staff was not really efficient, I eventually opened the door myself by pushing it hard with my foot.
No where to hang bathroom towels. The service for breakfast is slow (I finally did not have time to wait for it). the swimming pool which looks nice on pictures is very small and between a big wall and the entrance where cars are parked.

Not recommended. I got a good price at $30/nt, but at night, locals tell you it's not safe to walk, so you end up spending extra for cabs. It's convenient if you're going to spend a ton of time at the beach, which is across the main road.
My friends first room had tons of visible black mold (and it was hard to breathe), so she slept in my room the first night until they had another available.
There was no hot water in any of the rooms. The hot water faucets didn't even have water coming from them. Something in my bathroom (toilet? Shower?) leaked on my second day, but I knew they had no more rooms, so I just dealt with it. Toilet was only able to flush once every 20-30 minutes.
Depending where your room is, it's very noisy. I was right up the stairs from the lobby/pool, and heard loud music most nights. Plus, there's a buzzer at the outer door, for safety, and it goes off incessantly, all hours of the day. Wifi is also not super reliable.
Overall, the property is very rundown.
Pros - My room was clean and bed was comfortable. A/C worked well. Staff was nice, but spoke almost no English. Due to all the issues in multiple rooms, I'd say spend a little more and find something in the walled city/old Town.
This is by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed at. The area is so dangerous they lock the gates at 6 pm. You have to go around the back through a dark alley to get in. Also they demanded more money because i had a friend stop by during the day who was also in Cartagena, and they made me pay cash immediately. Called it a “guest fee”. The restaurant is awful and overpriced. And to top it off they have an ice machine but will make you go buy ice at a store down the street. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you are white, or a “gringo” as they say. They just take advantage of you because of it

Overall not a bad place. Seating at breakfast was an issue.
Hotel in front of a very busy 4 lane road. Sand blowing constantly across the road from the beach. Hotel staff spoke no English. TV had no English channels. Showers only had room temp water, not Hot. It had more of a hostel feel to it.

Hotel was dirty, WiFi never worked, and NO restaurants in walking distance. Very disappointed. Have stayed in hotels charging less than HALF that were in much nicer areas and much cleaner. Only thing going for this place is a pool and fairly close to airport, across from dirty beach.
