Good staff. Pathetic owner.

I have stayed here three times but never will again. The hotel is very clean, especially for old town Cartagena. The staff are very polite and we all try our best to work through confusion caused by language barries. I finally met the owner and wish I had not. 100% why I will sleep on a park bench before her hotel. I drink a lot of wine. A bottle is provided in the room (for a fee as is normal). The cork was damaged and after opening it I immediately realized it had gone bad. I drank two small sips. The owner refused not to charge me for the bottle at check out. This is the first time I have ever said anything negative in a review. I am fortunate, $15 means little to me. I own a small business and if I ever treat anyone like that I deserve to go bankrupt.

Terrible service. Unsatisfactory service. Not in compliance with expedia. Very deceptive business practices. The hotel wanted to make charges unauthorized fees for guest and family. Requested funds back and went to another hotel. NO Hot water all. I would not recommend this hotel. Very fraudulent business practices. Management very professional. Rooms were outdated and small. Didn't feel safe in the hotel. Highly recommend to not stay here. This hotel needs to be removed off of every platform. The manager needs to be terminated and training with better business ethics need to be implemented.
