The hotel was close to a lot of restaurants, park, etc. room was definitely way better than expected, plenty of room for a family of 4. I felt safe as it has someone 24hrs and there is a secure gate. Breakfast was good definitely recommended

The space was beautiful, and all of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast topped it all off -- fresh fruit, juice, coffee, arepas, eggs. The hotel is located in a very ideal spot within the old walled city. It's very walkable (we only took a cab a couple of times during our stay).

We had a great late check in, staff was so nice and sweet. They accommodated us, location is amazing, you can walk anywhere. Breakfast was great! Overall a great experience if you are looking to be walking distance to downtown Cartagena.

Fine but I’d spring for a nicer place

Great location. Good breakfast. Staff is lovely but don’t speak any English so brush up on your Spanish. Fine for the price, although I’d spend more money and stay nicer. My room had paper thin doors. No towels. I went to use the safe but the screws that secure to the wall had been removed. They did switch rooms for me which was appreciated. The new room was actually better.

The property was in a great location. The room we stayed in needed some remodeling. Bathroom sink was loose, crack in the walls and in a small window glass. Doors are locked at night which was a plus. Breakfast was included in the pricing. Staff was friendly. I gave it 3 stars because the place can be better.

When booking the room it did state on ground level. One thing to note ground level in this case means the hotel door opens to the outside. When we opened our door you walked out onto the street. This was fine for our family, but might be helpful to know when booking. Also with door opening directly to the street you hear everything going on. There are many street performers right outside your door, so if you are a night owl this is not a problem, but if you go to sleep early you may not like all the activity. Overall this hotel was a great location and we had a wonderful time exploring the city.
