"Good stay for birthday treat. Room warm and clean. Swimming pool and spa area very clean although busy at times. Breakfast was good and restaurant also good."

"The location was perfect, right at the top with easy access to all of the city. It had an amazing view and was quite quaint. The service was top notch. "Not close to much the exception of a coffee house and if you just looking for a place to lay your head down I guess that would be okay."

"Great overall experience only thing I would suggest is guests staying get a discount on food and beverage during their stay at Apex."

"Everyone was so friendly and helpful .. right from John the owner to Marnie our waitress our first dinner there .. she was excellent!"

"Excellent boutique hotel, brilliant location for St Andrews University and nearby attractions. Very accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. Should be rated a 4*."

Simple answer, I bought my own for £25. Sad as that sounds, solved all my problems. Will be staying again soon!"

"Excellent check-in by Dale. Very helpful and friendly. Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Great view from the window. Hotel situation is perfect. Close to museums, shops, Ship and station. Breakfast is fantastic. Kerry very helpful."

"Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Usual holiday inn offering but their kindness made it a special stay."

"A lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. No complaints."

"Absolutely fab stay. Maybe a bit more expensive than it should be for what’s offered. Room was bigger than expected and very clean. Wardrobe was small but it did the job for one night. Basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) are provided. Tea and coffee also provided in the room. No parking on-site but there is a car park...
