"Horrible accommodations it was totally freezing. There’s a half inch gap in every window. The front screen door has a 2 inch gap the freeway is cars are on the side of the house. You hear it all day and all night no blankets were provided. Blowup mattress turned into a taco in two hours. The so-called futon couch is meant for a child and didn’t open up. "The property was spotless. The room was a lot smaller than we imagined, but we didn’t spend much time in it anyway. I recommend this place for a quick visit, otherwise you’d feel cramped with two people. The common area didn’t feel inviting, just two desks and a kitchen with no seating area. I would prefer a couch instead or at least some chairs for the kitchen island, so that there is somewhere else to spend some time, because in the bedrooms there’s just a bed and the little kitchen is a step away from it. I don’t understand where we’re supposed to eat - on the bed? At the desks in the common area?
The host was polite and responsive but I felt like I received too many emails. The host uses a third party service for the cleaning fee and deposit, and that felt a little sketchy to us. The service even asked for a photo of my credit card, which is too much I think.
Overall we had no problems at all, the place is clean and in a safe neighborhood. A pleasant walk to all the bars and restaurants in Ballard, good and reliable transportation if you need it as well."
"Great location and close enough for UW appointment. Very clean, good communication with management, easy in and out. The Fremont district is eclectic with great shops, restaurants, bars. Parking is on-street, but available and free on some streets after 7p and others 8p. You can make it work!"
