Can’t say enough good things about all the staff. Front desk, housekeeping & kitchen were all friendly and helpful. One suggestion the Continental breakfast is bare bones! Some yogurt, muffins & bananas would greatly improve it. Not sure who eats jello for breakfast?

The room was very clean, spacious & comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. Great hote for a great price. Once we booked online, we received a welcome text message letting us know to reply to the message is there was anything we needed. We appreciate their communication. If we are in Carlsbad again, we will stay at this hotel.

Poor plumbing, couldn't adjust water temperature in shower very well. Breakfast bar was poorly stocked and poor altogether. The people at the desk was very polite and helpful.

The carpet was awful. I would not walk on it barefoot Toilet needs fixing, it had a tendency to run. No fresh fuit at the breakfast. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were wonderful. Very helpful getting us around town. It looks like this is an old hotel that needs lots of renovation if they want to compete with the others around Carlsbad.

Great Value, Close to 285

Very friendly check-in staff. Lobby and breakfast area decorated nicely for Halloween. Room was large and comfortable, beds comfy, enough pillows, in room coffee. Great water pressure in sink and shower. Nice towels, good TV. Nice continental breakfast to get you started. Wasn’t expecting a lot for the good value of room cost. Great coffee and flavored cream. No price gouging on cost of bottled water and soda sold at front desk. Not far from downtown part of Carlsbad. We visited the Caverns NP and watched the bat flights out of cave, very fun to see.

The staff was very in tune with our needs. Upon checking in and getting excited about breakfast (I said we couldn’t wait till breakfast), the receptionist offered us milk and cereal (we were hungry but too tired to go anywhere). When we came to the dining area, we were not only allowed to grab cereal and milk, but also cooked eggs, parfaits, juice, etc. The receptionist was so kind! The next morning upon leaving and needing to print, they told me printing was free and that if I had any trouble logging in to my email on their computer, I could email them my document and they’d print for me. Again, super helpful all around! Thank you staff!
