"Good peaceful location next to St Peters Canal "swing bridge", a beautiful view of Bras d'Or Lake. Good dinner atmosphere with local artists performing in dining room four nights a week. A little old and worn in appearance, but comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the guest laundry (washer) was not working the entire time we stayed here."

Piscine froide, et je n'ai pas apprécié le rideau de douche rose au bas...ca m'a inquiété pour le reste. Les gens fument sur leur balcon ayant un gros pot de plante comme cendrier (un endroit dédié aux fumeurs serait super) La vue sur le lac en face est belle! Et la propriétaire avec ses deux gros chiens gentils sont bien...

"#35 was our room. The musty smell was terrible, but it was the only room left on the Cabot trail. The room description says it’s a queen size, but it’s actually a double. The room, and surrounding property was very clean, but the place was so dated, I felt like I was back in the 70’s. It was the cheapest place around, so I guess that’s why it’s full."

"I have never written a review like this and I take some responsibility for not having read recent reviews but this place was terrible. It is in the process of being built and not suitable for guests. Nice idea but location next to a very noisy highway and not on the water as described. The dome itself was large and bright but not very clean (other peoples rubbish under the bed and pillow cases left in the room). The plastic of the domes gave off fumes which aggravated my asthma. The pillows were...

"Staff were friendly and helpful. My fish at the restaurant was wonderful and my husband stated it was one of the best smash burgers hes ever eaten. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. B7ffet breakfast was mediocre. The usual powdered eggs and dried out sausage. Our room Was clean but towels were very dinghy."

"Absolutely, hands down the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip to the Maritimes. From the ambiance of the hotel to the amazing food at the restaurant, incredibly clean rooms, laundry facility access for guests. We will be back!"

"L’emplacement est merveilleux, grand site proche de plusieurs activités. La ville de Baddeck semble être très animée, et l’hôtel est très bien située. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Il y a 2 restaurants dans l’hôtel et la nourriture est excellente. Le seul point négatif est que les chambres sont plutôt simple et mal insonorisé. On peut voir que l’intérieur des chambres datent de longtemps."

"Stay was good. The advantage of being in town was a good bonus. The restaurant had excellent food and service. Our stay was in one of the motel rooms which were comfortable enough but are a little dated and in need of a refresh in my opinion, particularly the bathroom."
