"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"We were given an upgraded room at check-in, and asked to pay a £10 charge for an extra cleaning charge for our dog. I was expecting this charge as Expedia don't give an option for paying for it when booking online. We dropped our bags in room and went out for a walk, on return we had a drink in the bar and went into restaurant for our evening meal which we both found uninspiring, especially the desserts. "Lovely place to stay, quiet and very comfortable room/bed. Staff are very nice and the breakfast is great …. Cooked or continental if you prefer, great coffee too! If you’ve travelled by car, this is definitely the place to stay….large, secure car park and about a 20 minute walk to centre of Canterbury. Taxi about £5.40 back from centre. Very recommended indeed."
