"Very happy with our stay here, they kindly said we could park up earlier than our checking in time. Our room was ready earlier too so that was a plus. The cooked breakfasts were lovely and brought to your table, we had dinner one evening in the restaurant and that was lovely too. Very polite and helpful staff. We asked if we could leave car in the car park for the morning on day of departure just so we could walk into town and they said that was fine. It made for a very cheerful stay the staff...

"Truly a unique hotel room - the exposed timbers from the 16th century were so amazing! The stairs to the attic room (where we stayed) were uneven and interesting, but not difficult to navigate as long as you are not disabled. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the air conditioning was very appreciated."

"If you want to spend extra time on the cathedral grounds - this is where you should stay. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was a bit small - sort of like a dormitory, but it was very nicely decorated and clean. The only amenity is soap, so you will want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner and toiletries."
