Stay was fantastic! The waterslide and pool were great! Hot chocolate bar for the holidays was a big hit! Breakfast was not free, but a good deal at $9/adult, $6 for kids, free for kids under 5.

Canmore is the perfect place to stay with its shops, restaurants, stores, breweries and the great 360 mountains views from every road in the town. Really friendly and helpful locals who find it no trouble to advise you on things to do and see.

We did the Bow valley trail to I40 which we had done before a few years ago. This time the road(gravel track) was in a very poor condition (although now being repaired) which made the drive very hard. Had to concentrate on pot holes not scenery.

Lake Louise and Moraine lake very busy - an hour's wait for the shuttle bus so we didn't bother and went to emerald lake instead
