"Very good dinner, clean room, easy parking"

"Immensely impressive restoration of one of Britain's iconic buildings. The food in the restaurant was amongst the best I have tasted, however, although very friendly and attentive, the staff in the Restuarant would benefit from more training. The EV charging points were most welcome but were inconsistent and failed regularly. Loved the atmosphere generated by the property and would stay again if in the area"

"A relaxing stay. Lovely team that felt like family. They couldn’t do enough for us. Kerry at reception was exceptional- very professional and knowledgeable. Jo was an absolute gem. The kitchen staff were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel made it especially great due to the amenities nearby in the plaza and fuel station. "Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok. A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. "

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "

"We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall. Helen was an absolute star our entire stay, from a cream tea ready for our arrival, to posting some forgotten inhalers back to us in Leeds after we had left! The accomodation is beautiful and quiet, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We found it to be very peaceful and loved having the ability to cook our own food with the aid of plenty of supermarkets nearby. This accomodation is not one to be missed!"

"I was told there was no hotel parking, only street spaces or in Port Isaac—a ten-minute walk away. Luckily, we parked nearby, but later found there was poorly signposted hotel parking with just eight spaces. Better communication would have helped. Parking in Port Isaac is pay and display, up a steep hill, so dropping off luggage first is wise. Reception was small and busy; we waited several minutes to be checked in, though the staff member was pleasant. Our room was spacious and well...

"Staff are amazing. Front of house were so helpful. They are in the midst of replacing the carpets in the bedrooms which is needed. But the hotel is so lovely. Very clean and close to everything that you need. "

"We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...
