I can't fault the location or the staff. They were great. But the bathroom was tiny and not terribly well maintained, the room was dated with uncomfortable furniture and the bed was pretty uncomfortable too. There are cheaper places with much nicer rooms only a little further from the CBD.

Location is great, close to the esplanade and aquarium. Room is very basic and in desperate need of an update. Air-conditioner very noisy and vents very dusty. Bathroom is tiny and very old. For the price, this is very poor value. Aside from our housekeeper who did a great job each day, and the pool, which is very nice, there is not a lot to recommend this hotel. In three words - it's very basic.

This place has seen better days. Cracked tiles, a towel holder that was just about to fall off the wall, a sliding door to the terrace that didn't open or close, blinds that were not fully able to be closed - it needs some real maintenance. Other than that the room was clean.

The room was very clean and the cleaning staff were amazing. The location is within easy walking distance of the Esplanade and many pubs and eateries. The Cairns Aquarium and Tomb of the Pharaohs exhibition is directly opposite the Ramada. The room and small TV that we were allocated is dated but are being fully renovated in stages. The reception was amazingly friendly and helpful. They lent us 2 giant golf umbrellas and pool towels to take on our reef cruise. The room had no view, but we weren’t there to look out the window. The Esplanade was just a block away and the mall with many shops for things we fortjust a brief walk.
