I can't fault the location or the staff. They were great. But the bathroom was tiny and not terribly well maintained, the room was dated with uncomfortable furniture and the bed was pretty uncomfortable too. There are cheaper places with much nicer rooms only a little further from the CBD.

Location is great, close to the esplanade and aquarium. Room is very basic and in desperate need of an update. Air-conditioner very noisy and vents very dusty. Bathroom is tiny and very old. For the price, this is very poor value. Aside from our housekeeper who did a great job each day, and the pool, which is very nice, there is not a lot to recommend this hotel. In three words - it's very basic.

The reception was amazingly friendly and helpful. They lent us 2 giant golf umbrellas and pool towels to take on our reef cruise. The room had no view, but we weren’t there to look out the window. The Esplanade was just a block away and the mall with many shops for things we fortjust a brief walk.
