Garden of Eden

Lovely hosts. We self catered for ourselves in a well equipped kitchen which was great. Accommodation was great and their garden was a nature lovers paradise. Would recommend.

The bungalow was great - the kitchen was fully equipped, the porch was comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, and the hosts were very helpful and gracious. The location was walking distance to the restaurants and shops of Cahuita, as well as the beach. I would definitely stay here again, but maybe not on a Saturday night when neighbors had a very loud party lasting late into the night.

Maricé and Luciano are true gems. The space they have created is serene and magical. I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this place (since I booked it less than 24 hours in advance). 10/10 would book here again!

Great host, 400 steps and you are in a gorgeous beach surrounded by the most beautiful nature, including a white sloth that loves hunging from the power cord. This place and Luciano's hosting accumen are a must for any traveler.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll geführt, der Garten ist ein wunderschöner Ort, den wir sehr genossen haben. Jeden Tag wird geputzt, so dass man vom Strand in eine gemütliche und ordentliche Cabana kommt. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Lindo lugar.

La dueña es muy buena gente, sin embargo me cobró otra tarifa diferente a la de la plataforma ya que dijo que mi hijo de 8 años pagaba como adulto y que la plataforma se había equivocado al cobrar como niño, y me dijo que la tarifa no incluía impuestos, cuando en realidad sí.

This was an amazing place to stay at during our vacation. The hosts were very helpful in all areas of our stay! I would highly recommend staying at this location as the proximity to the town and the Beach was great. The gardens are just wonderful around our cabin.

Peaceful and secure cabins, fully equipped.

Stayed for 4 nights. Secure and calm cabins near the beach, less than 5 min. Walk to playa negra. The road from the street is unpaved but in a good condition. Parking lot is very secure, cabins are private and fully equipped for cooking, has bathroom/tub, comfy beds, outside shower for when you get from the beach. Nice deck with hammock (on the one we stayed) and an outside table. Broom, mop, clothesline and utility sink available too. Our cabin had ceiling fans and floor fans, other cabins have AC. Garden is Very well kept by the gardener, great attention by the cleaning personnel and management is very very attentive to every guest needs, easy to reach and always willing to help, will also help with options to visit or plan your day, very knowledgeable about the surroundings, restaurants, beaches, parks, local guidence and help like that is always appreciated. We did a late check in and Marisé even helped us with driving tips to get there safely. Very patient, responsible and always a smile, great attitude! Definitively would come back. The location is great, near Cahuita center and the national park. You can also find a plethora of beaches in a 15-45 min time range. Main road is in very good condition. Please check all high-tide and currents warnings in every beach, Costa Ricas Caribbean is very tricky. We had an amazing stay at Casa Marcellinos, I would recommend it, you feel at calm and very welcome by the staff. Thanks!

Marcellino and his wife were wonderful and gracious hosts. Cabins are wonderful but could use AC on the steamy nights. Grounds are immaculately kept and secure. 200 meters to the beach doesn't hurt. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
