"The location is one of a kind."

"I traveled with my wife and two kids. The property is just in front of the beach and you are surrounded by jungle. The rooms are excellent, the staff is amazing and the food was delicious. It is very private and you can walk through amazing trails to nearby beaches. There is parking on site. Do consider driving a 4x4 so you can get all the way to the hotel as there is a short drive on sand before reaching the property. If not, no worries, you can leave your car in the hotel Sano Banano, and...

"I can't recommend this hotel enough – I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. Everything was perfect – super location, a clean, serene room with a balcony to sit out on and watch all the wildlife... Delicious breakfast and food in the restaurant (and at the moment all the football matches projected on the wall!) ... Every member of staff was kind and helpful... And so many nice touches: the lovely yoga in the open air studio... freshly baked cake every afternoon... and a to-go breakfast on...

"El Sano Banano is a block from the beach and the little beachfront community. Everyone knows each other, they're outgoing, friendly, and extremely welcoming. Their menu is exceptional, their fresh fish dishes are to die for. I would come back here in a heartbeat"

"The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at...
