Das Hostal bietet neben gemütlichen Zimmern auch einen großen, hellen Wohnberiech, der bei dem mitunter vorbeischauenden Regen wunderbar dazu angetan ist, auf besseres Wetter zu warten. Kostenlose Kekse, Tee und Kaffee unterstützen dabei tatkräftig. Neben dem guten Frühstück gibt es auch gutes, preiswertes Mittag- und Abendessen am großen gemeinsamen Tisch.Englisch wird nicht gesprochen, aber mit Händen und Füßen und ein paar Brocken Spanisch, notfalls einer Dolmetscher-App, klappt die Kommunikation bestens. Die unkomplizierte, herzliche Atmosphäre tut ein Übriges, um das Hostal Akainij gerne und uneingeschränkt für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Williams zum empfehlen!
