Apartment very well appointed, very comfortable . Communication with the host was excellent , we had a slight problem and couldn’t get the tv to work which she soon sorted out. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it .

Excellent stay

Brilliant large flat above charming village pub. Yes it's above a pub and therefore you can hear some noise this did not bother us. It's in a lovely location and the flat is in a really nice condition. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Great stay in 2 bed apartment

As the name suggests, was immaculate throughout. Recently refurbished and to a good standard, had everything we needed and in a great location. Nice little touch to have towels left out for us and some tea/coffee left over.

Great location for walking

Perfect location for walking, as on bus route to beauty spots from which you can walk back. Brilliant to have plenty of parking and an exceptionally large apartment, recently refurbished, with all amenities. Only downside was staff made a lot of noise under my room until 1am. Otherwise ideal with reasonably priced food and open fires at the pub downstairs.

Easy check in and parking. Nice place and comfortable beds. Has washer but no dryer. Getting clothes to dry was a challenge. We would stay again.

Exactly how described...luxury 👌

Absolutely loved our stay here! Modern, clean and so cosy!! The bed is the comfiest bed i have ever slept in away from home...so much so we kept doing starfishes in excitement 🤣 Good sleep is so important after a solid day of hiking so very much appreciated. Shower again was amazing after a day out hiking in the rain ❤️ Brilliant location for all the places we visited.Will definitely be returning.

Very nice, bit noisy

Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening.

Hidden Gem?

The perfect location for a stay in the Peak District, with arguably the best view from a pub garden anywhere in the UK? Perfect for a family of four, with all rooms well furnished and a generous kitchen and lounge set up. Great for self-catering, but the food in the pub downstairs was good stuff. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are all inside a 20-minute drive, and you can simply pop hiking boots on and start over the back fence of the beer garden for a good walk. Taddington Village is lovely. Have already been recommending it to friends. We will be back!

The apartment was excellent, just a couple of things The wife said a mirror in the bedroom would be good , the door in bedrooms could maybe have hooks on them , the hinges on the doors would benefit from a bit of WD40 sprayed on them (squeaks) and the sign out side front bedroom needs a bit of grease on it .Small things didn't spoil our stay and the food in the pub great nothing was to much trouble
