"The beachhouse is a serene oasis with beautiful seaviews and sunsets, a pretty pool, and a chic boho vibe with natural materials and lots of bamboo and woodworks that show great care for design and sustainability, merging into the natural beauty of the environment. Coming by boat from the seaside (island hopping), you barely see the beachhouse at first, blending into the palm trees that line the shore and the dense greenery of the jungle clad mountain behind. Then it emerges as a tropical oasis on the edge of the Ocam Ocam Cove. Its a perfect retreat for those who seek a peaceful getaway far from the crowds of town, to relax, recharge, and taste the raw nature of palawan (which they call “the last frontier” of the philippines for its untouched nature). To us it was the perfect Palawan getaway to enjoy a quiet and peaceful weekend, laze around the pool, and explore the islandscape of Busuanga by boat (Black Island across the Beachhouse, and the Dugong snorkling tour were our highlights). Ocam Ocam Beach is pretty, raw and quiet, nice for a walk along the cove exploring a mix of local village life and small tourist establishments. The beachhouse is around an hour ride from the airport and easy to reach with the hotels shuttle, the last 15mins are rough road and get a bit bumpy. Dont go if you expect crowds, bars and nightlife, its a remote escape far from the hustle of coron town, but for us, it was the perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend."

"We wanted to “get away” and that’s what we got at La Estancia. We get to spend quality time with family. The resort catered to our needs. PROS: >They offer airport to resort to airport transfers for a fee if less than 8 persons but if you are a group of 8, the van is free. We were a group of 16, so we only paid for the second van. >The resort offers private island lifestyle and offer breakfast/lunch/dinner for an extra charge (very reasonable pricing, mostly Filipino food menu) > Private beach > Free use of kayaks > Seaview rooms with private balconies > Wonderful staff (special mention to Nanay Auie, Ate Aiza, Ma’am Meryl and our drivers) > Clean rooms > La Estancia can book your island hopping and Coron activities and coordinate with trusted tour agencies (they made sure we enjoyed and were safe with our Coron tour) > They can make you lunch picnic for your island hopping for a separate fee (again very reasonable pricing and delicious fresh food/drinks). Our family went to Black Island and Debotunay Island CONS: > Far from town proper ( 1.5 from airport/ 2 hrs to Coron), so if you want night life, this is not your kind of resort > Internet was slow (but then again, if you want to get away…)this was just fine for us. My son was still able to log on and take his summer online classes/tests. > As of July 2025, they don’t take major credit cards ( they take cash, money transfers thru paypal/gcash) My advise is to please ask resort for updates before your stay. "

"The staff were fantastic.shout out to Jeremy at reception. Room was terrific too, unfortunately my room was next to the pool and only 30m from the restaurant which closes at 10pm Or so I thought, the remarkably selfish owners of the adjacent restaurant, were up to 130 am. I spoke to staff (actually i woke staff) to ask them what was happening. I had to go over at midnight and ask myself. Managers were very helpful after the event but nowhere to be seen or hea rd at the time (staff tried calling), i asked about ear plugs to assist but i may as well be asking for a pavlova recipe, as was the response. it had a big impact on the rest of my day. Had to cancel last scuba dive because i needed to organise alternate accomodation and transport to coron town. If you like to sleep when you choose to sleep and not have others decide it for you. Go elsewhere or choose a room away from the pool "
