"Was locked out after hours and told “Call emergency number if after front desk closed”. Well maybe that was my bad for not looking to make sure there was an emergency phone number but there was NOT. Not on the front door, not online, not in reviews, not in files somewhere held by Hotels.com. Not in any check in instructions- not on the website. Not in the texts I received from any of the dozen times I’ve stayed at this location. Not in the pockets of anyone else that was also locked outside in freezing temps on this night. The cops didn’t have any phone numbers- or way to enter. Until 2:30AM we were locked out because there is absolutely no one to help you after the shift from the hotel is over. It was an absolute nightmare.
To make matters worse the woman I was with put her belongings in my room and was supposed to be home for her child but couldn’t leave either. I was late to my commitments the next day for closing sleep over work at this point. It was a ripple effect of chaos and being miserable.
This system was proven unacceptable by 3 of us hotel guests that night. One had given up and slept in their truck.
As a hotel owner the most logical and obvious thing is to POST A PHONE NUMBER exactly where
The entry points are and where you are locked OUT of your own belongings! How ridiculous. 😔
Worst night ever."
