"Great hotel, lovely food, friendly staff and a comfy bed."

"Friendly and professional staff. Wonderful evening meal (the Halloumi Flatbread was delicious). Good parking, spacious bedroom well appointed. The chilled complimentary fruit juice & water was much appreciated after a 400 mile journey! My only issue was that room 4 was right over the outside seating area and I can only imagine that during World Cup season this could prove to be a problem. As it was I did have the creaking stairs (access for all guests) and loud music blasting from the bar below...

"The yurt had everything you could possibly need including crip fresh linen located next to a great pub with lovely friendly hosts and great food, all within a few minutes drive from Clitheroe and access to some lovely walks."

"Our room was very dated and run down, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shower leaked everywhere, plaster peeling and damp and mould all over. The £120 room only per night was far more than it’s worth. The bar is nice and the food is reasonably for a pub, it’s not a restaurant. Location is good and has parking which is rare for Howarth."

"Very friendly staff, nice big room (called falow), excellent breakfast, excellent evening meal staff very helpful sorting out a taxi for us, the room was warm due to heatwave so needed to keep windows open so we did notice some noise from the kitchen fans but this could not be helped. Very good car parking. Overall an excellent 2 day visit and would highly recommend."
