Terrible - Stay away!!!

Owner overbooks property and does not honor confirmed and pre-paid room types. Later refusing to reimburse for accommodations not provided. After check in owner knocked on our door to ask us to leave because they had another family checking in to our same room (a three bedroom flat). Owner allowed another family to walk in while our family was in the room, closed half of the unit to split the flat between the two families because that was the only solution she had. Our luggage still on the other side of the apartment unit. Beyond not receiving the product we paid for and the poor customer service, our family's safety was in jeopardy. Owner claimed she had cancelled reservation with Expedia, the fact is that cancellation never occurred, at least not communicated to us before arrival. Owner refuses to reimburse & Expedia claims they are advocating on our behalf yet unable to grant any reimbursement for the service/product not provided much less for the inconvenience. Never have we experience such a fiasco.

Interesting

Very "authentic" apartments in Palermo. It is not a "hotel" in the typical sense in that there is no front desk or lobby area. They are apartments which can be confusing when first arriving. Be ready to call upon arrival so someone comes and gives you key. They overbooked when i was there but put me up in a really modern and nice place a couple blocks away, however did get to see what would have been my room. Like I said it was very charming and what I would expect a typical local's apartment to look like.

La cosa es que el depto le faltaba limpiza por donde se mire, estaba deteriorado y sin mantenimiento, la puerta del balcon no cerraba, y la puerta principal no resiste un empujon. Abajo funciona un restaurant del que proviene un olor intesamente insoportable!! Tal fue mi descontento que no permaneci ni una hora y me fui a un hotel. Le comunique al joven que oficiaba de contacto (no hay recpcion permanente) mi opinion ni ni siquiera se molesto en responder el mail. Conclusion: No se lo recomiendo a nadie!!!!

We arrived 3 hours early and Natalia was just a phone call away. She took care of everything and I impressed with her command of the English language. Highly recommend to anyone.
