Top Buckminster Hotel Reviews

Urban Hotel Grantham

8/10 Good

"No bed side lamps but staff arranged different room"

Tollemache Arms

10/10 Excellent

"Great place to stay in a quiet rural location. The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful hot shower and the WiFi is very fast for a rural spot too. Nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced too. The only downside for me was that I didn’t sleep well because in the room there was an illuminated fire escape sign above my door that couldn’t be turned off. This is totally unnecessary as I knew where the door was, but sleeping with a light on is not the way I like to do it. I like sleeping in the dark. Must remember to take a blindfold sleep mask the next time I stay here."

Crown Hotel Stamford

"returning visitor and will do again - quality yet relaxed great service and food"

The Old Pheasant Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed for 3 nights for work, room was comfortable, food was brilliant and staff were all lovely. Parking outside and set in a nice area made the stay a success. Will definitely use them again for work, high recommended."

Hampton by Hilton Corby/Kettering

10/10 Excellent

"Clean beds and towels. Very comfy bed and a lovely breakfast."

The Bingham Townhouse

8/10 Good

"staff were very helpful. the chinese food is exceptional. recommend"

The Barnsdale, Rutland

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed 2 nights with our dog during a tour of the Rutland area and further afield. We were really impressed by the hotel - great location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely walks locally, well maintained facilities, lots of spaces for chilling out, lovely food and welcoming of our dog in all locations. We had a lovely stay and this hotel is high on our list for a return, perhaps without our dog so we can use the spa facilities! The only slight negatives were that the room looked a little tired (we understand that there's a major refurb on the way) but it was perfectly fine and perhaps now is the time to get a good price before the refurb! And, a small gripe, the lovely breakfast was spoiled by having to make our own toast using two toasters that couldn't brown both sides of the bread at the same time (I spend many minutes standing around with others trying to get a decent slice to go with my eggs) - a minor but irritating annoyance. But overall a fantastic stay, thank you."

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"Overall a good stay. I stayed in the cosy double room and all I would say is the bed was really hard. Also the room was right by the door so it was noisy as times. Breakfast was good. We tried booking in for dinner on the first evening however it was full so we ordered a delivery to the hotel as it was late. No food service in the evening which I thought was odd. The hotel did try and book us in for the other nights though."
