"Very friendly welcome and lovely spacious room. A thermos of fresh milk was ready for us every evening on the reception counter for tea/ coffee in our room the next morning. Breakfast was delicious with excellent selection of fruit, yoghurt, granola and choice of cooked breakfast. The location is excellent too. A short 10 minute walk and you're on the beach at Instow. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. "

"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room. "The staff were great. The only thing to moderately moan about was the bathroom in room 3 was a bit small, but we have stayed in room 4 previously and that was fine."
