"I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The pictures on the website were misleading, as the actual room was quite different from what was advertised. The staff was friendly, but they were also uninformed about our stay and the changes we requested when we asked to change rooms. The manager was never present, and the Roof Bar and access were closed. The “coffee bar” was just a Kursk, which is not an actual bar. "
"Our reservation was cancelled the day we were supposed to to check in. We drove all the way from Maine to Brooklyn for a much anticipated trip. It was very upsetting to arrive to NYC and find out we had no place to stay, even though i had made the reservation 2 months in advance. Totally unacceptable."
"I prepaid for a room for 2 nights / 3 days. Before my trip, I specifically called the hotel to let them know my flight into JFK would be arriving late around 10:30 PM and told them NOT to give my room away. I even called again the day before to confirm they had left a note on my reservation.
I arrive at the hotel at MIDNIGHT after traveling all day, and they tell me they gave my room away anyway. Their explanation? “It’s first come, first serve.” HOW does that even make sense when I already PAID for the room in advance and notified you multiple times that I was arriving late?!
Then it gets worse. When I asked for a refund for the first night, they told me my delayed flight was “my fault” and refused to refund me. Absolutely unbelievable customer service.

"Great location but rooms are small. Furnishings are quite old. Expected better with how much they charge. Hotel is in bar and clubs neighborhood so it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday nights way until 3 am."
