"Breakfast food could do with being hotter and have some way of warming the breakfast plates. Eating luke warm food on a cold breakfast plate is unpleasent. "

"Sadly I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We booked via hotels.com, we booked a ‘standard king bed room.’ This doesn’t exist. We were given a double bed, we asked to change this and showed them our booking which caused confusion. They upgraded us to a “bigger room” but this still had a double bed. This, paired with the mouldy smell throughout the hotel - unsure if an old mop smell or the aircon or both and very dodgy people hanging around reception / outside made us decide to move to the Premier Inn nearby which does have king beds! Danum would not refund us even though they are advertising and charging for what they cannot supply. The hotel has had had some work done and the bathrooms are new but still old carpets in the rooms. The receptionist did try her best to assist and was polite."

"The room was well equipped, nice and clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast, initially thought was a bit pricey but, was well worth it the the waitress that served us was very sweet. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone else."

"Rooms were clean and modern and the bed was comfy. However, the off road parking was about 300m in a town car park. The water in the shower was just tepid with no hot water at all in the wash basin taps. After informing the management , i got hot water in the shower but only with the flow lowered to almost a trickle.. I also got tepid water from the sink taps, but it suddenly went cold again halfway through cleaning my teeth. There were also instructions for a coffee machine but no machine and i dont like instant coffee.. I will not be staying there again."
