"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Beautiful location. Fantastic views and great walks. Attention to detail in our room. Wine glasses, cork screw etc. Excellent toiletries. Best breakfast with plenty of variety that I have had in any B&B we have stayed in. Attentive host with lots of local information provided. Pub within walking distance 1.5 miles. I could go on and on. Very peaceful stay and would not hesitate to rebook"

"Very nice hotel to stay in Tunbridge Wells. Close enough to the centre so that you don't need your car. The hotel and our room were very clean. There is a public car park very close to the hotel so it's easy to park even though you can't really do do at the hotel. "

"We had a wonderfully relxingstay at this little gem of a hotel. The staff were excellent who went out of their way to ensure a nice stress free stay. The room was tastefully decorated with everything we needed.and the breakfast was excellent. my only exremely minor whinge, like most hotels the choice of decaf coffee in the room was nescafe, probably the worst decaf coffee on the market. Pay a little extra for for Taylors or Douwe Egbert."
"Excellent customer service from the lovely lady at reception! Breakfast was great- continental with the option to order a hot meal too (the scrambled eggs on toast was delicious).
We had an early train booked for our checkout day however the hotel arranged a takeaway breakfast which we really appreciated.

"absolutely lovely hotel! they staff were so kind and incredibly helpful. they rooms were nice and clean and the area itself is perfect for walking around to do some shopping. the train station is a 5-7 minute walk away which is also a plus. would happily stay here again!"
