"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s been lovely however this time I found one of the staff very unhelpful and put us into a bit of a negative. We know some of the rules had changed and we hadn’t brought ID with us which was swiftly sorted we explained how we were part of the Hilton honours and were told it didn’t apply as we’d booked with another online company. That was fine but the man supporting us was being helpful yet the man stood next to him was making it rather not pleasant and being awkward including when we were surprised about breakfast times etc There wasn’t much information in the rooms like there was last time or instructions and our room was very cold. The other staff were really lovely and helpful still but as reoccurring customers we would have liked our stay a bit more positive than it had been previously … we said it put us off we wouldn’t want to stay again. Breakfast was plentiful but not as previously once was."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and an excellent spa area. The room was comfortable and fortunately the weather wasn't too warm, as the air conditioning wasn't working during our stay. There was also a persistent clicking noise from the air vent system near the room entrance, which was quite annoying, especially at night. Aside from those issues, we had a very pleasant stay and found the hotel to be well maintained and relaxing."

"Reception lady could not raise even a tiny smile to welcome us. Lifts are incredibly slow to both arrive and get moving. Hermetically sealed room with no access to fresh air at all. Quite claustrophobic. Toilet paper tightly rationed! I had not realised there was no fridge in the room - entirely my fault - but it did make keeping medicines fresh problematic. A/C effective and plenty of hot water."
