This was one of the best Inns we have ever stayed in - great location, quiet, comfortable, super clean and had everything we could possibly need for a short stay. Steve and Sue were incredibly accommodating, very nice, and made us feel like home. We felt like we were staying with family. The breakfast each morning was incredible. Someone needs to hook Sue up with a cooking show! In summary: we highly recommend it. This place has made our visit to Bristol extra special.

The Inn is a wonderful heave away from the world. Sue and Steve are the friendliest most accommodating hosts, and the views from the property are stunning. We keep coming back here.

This is an extraordinary inn. Steve and Sue were promptly responsive to questions I sent them before our arrival. When we arrived, they met us at the door and warmly welcomed us. Warm cookies beckoned as we were shown around the house. Our room was spacious, and included a separate sitting room with a stunning view of the yard, manicured gardens, and the mountains. A delicious, homemade,multi-course breakfast was served each morning. We really enjoyed talking with Steve and Sue about our family and theirs, and their enjoyment of running the inn and meeting new people is evident. The inn is in good proximity to both Bristol and Middlebury, not far off the main roaf but far enough to put you in a serene amd beautiful country setting. The property has been carefully and beautifully maintained, inside and out. We can't wait for a chance to return!

Dream House is the perfect place to get away and relax. The hosts were fantastic: helpful, kind, accommodating. The huge porch was the perfect place to read and book and relax. The rural setting is ideal and there are many outdoor things to see and do nearby. Good food can be found nearby. One of the very best B&Bs we have experienced (out of about 20)!

Amazing place to stay

This is such an adorable B&B in very idyllic Vermont. We came out here for a wedding and staying at Dream House Country Inn made the experience even more memorable. The house is cute, cozy and comfortable and Sue + Steve are extremely welcoming and friendly. If you’re looking for a place to stay, we definitely recommend staying here, it will be worth it. The breakfasts alone made us not want to leave. :)

Weekend getaway

Steve and Sue were there to greet us and help us with our bags. They are very personable and knowledgeable about where to go in the surrounding area. Beautiful decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Many amenities. Breakfast both days were scrumptious. We would go back again !

Excellent House, Excellent Hosts

We had an incredible stay with Sue & Steve. They made us feel right at home and prepared an AMAZING breakfast with local ingredients, including the syrup from maples they tap on the property. With the gingerbread trim and slate roof, the house is very charming inside and out. The bed was high quality and the jetted tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. They helped us with dinner reservations at the Bobcat which definitely came in handy as it got crowded quick. I would absolutely recommend this serene space to anyone year round and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

The very best B and B!

We have been visiting the Middlebury area for 8 years (several kids in college there). We have stayed at many B and Bs. The Dream House Country Inn was BY FAR the finest Inn we have ever visited. The owners were great hosts, considerate, friendly, and helpful. The accomodations were the best. Very roomy, cozy, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. A great place!!

Awesome place

When we arrived the owners were ready to go showing us our room and providing a place to eat in town. They even called and made reservations for us. Top rate breakfast cooked by the owners. We needed a fan they got us one. The coffee was always available and plenty of home made chocolate chip cookies.

Niente di meglio in Vermont!! Sue e Steve sono stati perfetti padroni di casa, ci hanno accolto con affetto e coccolati in tutto. Le camere e la casa molto belle e pulite. Dotazioni complete e disponibilità di bottigliette d’acqua ad uso gratuito e accesso alla macchina del caffè e al bollitore per le tisane.(di cui è presente un’ampia scelta) camera enorme e silenziosa di notte per un sonno perfetto anche grazie ai materassi di prima qualità. La colazione poi è da ricordare negli anni, ogni giorno un piatto diverso sia dolce che salato per un inizio di giornata grandioso. Non posso Che consigliarvelo!

Dream House indeed

Dream House lives up to its name. It is far enough from Bristol to be quiet, yet close enough for an easy 3 minute drive to town. The 1852 house itself oozes with charm. The food is excellent. The rooms are large and inviting. Our bed was very comfortable. Sue and Steve are wonderful hosts with great tips and history about the area. We lucked out finding this gem.
