Would definitely recommend for anyone staying on Moreton. 2 bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable. Only recommendation is to stow the pool table balls each night by 9:00 pm- despite the signs to not use the pool tables before 8:00 am, a group of children served as our alarm clock before 7:00 am every morning since the table was right outside our bedroom.

2nd time hlamping at Castaways and we will be back.
Whenever overseas visitors come to Oz we love to take them to Castaways for a taste of Australia not many would get to see.
King size beds and an ensure with shower and toilet make this a cross between feeling you are on a safari but on the beautiful island of Moreton.

Moreton Glamping Break
Moreton is a great place to getaway from the rush of mainland and Castaways is a perfect place to stay. Glamping tents are basic but a big step above a tent with a proper bed and en-suite. The cooking area again is basic but enough to cook a great meal on the gas cook top. Just a short stroll to the beach.

The camp kitchen was not clean. Not once in the time we were there had the camp kitchen been cleaned. A female staff was rude. First night we had a cold shower because they ran out of gas.

Loved the whole glamping concept however tents need a good clean and communal kitchen also needed a good clean. Loved the visit from the kookaburras and also Roxy the dog. The layout of each tent was good, very private.

Escape the fake
An amazing place. Highly recommend staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Camp kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need. Shop next door 👍 Best of all, it was really close to the beach and Bulwer wrecks for a swim or snorkel. For a super quiet and relaxing stay, close to Brisbane, escape the fake.
