"We really enjoyed our stay at White Horses. The staff was nice, friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful. The location was gorgeous and having a view of the sea was wonderful. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent and very tasty! I would recommend this place to others. Thankful for the pleasant and relaxing experience we had there! It was clean, and charming. "

"A nice basic room above a pub. The parking is a bit of a problem as there really isn’t anywhere nearby until after 8pm. But pretty good for the price. Nice staff."

"Just a rare find these days. Everything you could hope for. Exactly the best type of old village pub, great atmosphere, fine tap room and diversity of excellent food and drink. Menu delicious…. Loosen your belt for the full Tiger breakfast! Staff so helpful, courteous and …. well just happy to make your stay as memorable as possible… Location superb, from the immediate tables on the village green to everything local for fine sightseeing and walks etc… This is a conundrum… we don’t want to shout...

"We had a lovely time at the Tiger Inn East Dean celebrating my friends birthday. The room was cosy and very pretty, it had everything we needed. The shower was powerful and hot which we enjoyed. The breakfast was great neither of us needed lunch after it. The village of East Dean is charming and has many original features. We ate dinner at the Tiger Inn and had a lunch at Hikers Rest. We didn't have time to visit the Thai restaurant that we heard was good or the deli cafe."

"De Inn is leuk, op een fantastische lokatie op loopafstand van de beroemde cliffen, met een heel goed restaurant. De kamer is comfortabel, met een fantastische douche. Ontbijt is royaal. Enige minpunt is dat de bedden erg zacht zijn en de prijs is wel wat hoog. Maar zeker wel aan te bevelen"

"Lovely welcoming staff, spacious room with sea view, fab evening meal and veggie breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Super, friendly seaside town with interesting features like museum on the seafront and theatre. Bracing walk on the front before breakfast. Daughter & I loved our stay! "

"Small hotel in a residential area close to the beach. Very modern, clean and spacious bar and outside seating area. The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. It’s small and very awkward to navigate when full - 7 spaces in two separate areas. Not however a reason to...
