"Excellent location for the racing - stayed 3 nights in total which included parking. It was a little run down but very good value for money. Had microwave, kettle and fridge in the room, with tea coffee sugar and milk. Room was clean, a little run down in places with marks on the wall etc, windows a little dirty, but nothing overly bad. "3rd time I've stayed. Very handy for Blyton Park. Room and pub/restaurant very enjoyable place to be. Be careful that meals are booked and confirmed the day before. Check restaurant times carefully. Pub does close very early on a Sunday."

"Apart from a strange noise that came intermittently from either the pipes or the air conditioning, I cannot fault this place. The room was excellent. The quietness of the environment was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bath was large and comfortable. There was a little wear and tear on the bannisters and newel posts on the stairway but it was clean and not screaming out for immediate redecoration. "For the money was ok. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed comfy and the water hot. Four steps down to the bathroom, which seemed odd. The pub itself is in desperate need of a re-vamp. Very tired. Also, the staircase to the room a bit grim Also noticed cigarette butts on floor outside that were there when we arrived and still there two days later. Although would probably not stay again, I felt safe, and parking fine."
